Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information oakrootstaxaccounting.com collects, how it is used, and under what circumstances it might be shared, and was last revised on September 1, 2026.
This page needs review by counsel before launch.
What This Policy Covers
This policy describes how information submitted through this website is handled. Client information governed by a signed engagement is covered separately by that engagement and by the confidentiality obligations that apply to an Enrolled Agent.
What We Collect
The enquiry and consultation forms collect your name, email address, phone number if you provide one, the service you are interested in, and your message. That is all. The forms do not request or accept Social Security numbers, ITINs, EINs, dates of birth, or file uploads, and any identification number that appears in a message is removed rather than stored.
How It Is Used
Submissions are used to respond to your enquiry and to arrange a consultation. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors arrive. It records page views and general interaction events, not the contents of your form submissions. You can block it with any standard browser or extension privacy control.
Cookies
Google Analytics 4 uses cookies to support the analytics described above. You can block cookies in your browser settings; doing so will not affect your ability to browse this site or contact us.
Security
No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We take reasonable, commercially standard steps to protect information submitted through this site, but cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Links to Other Sites
This site links to third-party resources, including government websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not operate, and encourage you to review their policies before providing information to them.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Retention
Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the conversation. You can ask for an enquiry to be deleted by emailing michelle@oakrootsaccounting.com.
Your Choices
You can ask what enquiry information is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted, by emailing michelle@oakrootsaccounting.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of this site after a change means you accept the update.
